Mrs. Rebecca J. McGary
Dies, Funeral Is Friday
Mrs. Rebecca J. McGary, 88 years of age, a resident of Nodaway county for forty-five years, died at 2 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of a son, Dennis McGary, west of Orrsburg.
Funeral servicew will be held at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning at St. Joseph's church in Parnell with burial in St. Columba cemetery at Conception. Fr. Bonaventure will be in charge.
A native of Ohio, Mrs. McGary was born in Perry county October 6, 1852. She was married in Ohio to John McGary and his death occured January 17, 1917. Mrs. McGary lived on a farm in Jefferson township before moving to near Orrsburg two years ago.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary L. Maher, Maryville; Mrs. Claretta Myers, St. Louis, and Mrs. Gertrude Dalrymple, Maryville; two sons, Bernard L. McGary, Guilford, and Dennis McGary, and a brother Basil Flowers, Lima, Ohio.
