Elsie H. Wiedrich
Batavia - Elsie H. Wiedrich, 86, of Batavia, a secretary at Trousdel Insurance in Leroy prior to her retirment, died Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Buffalo General Medical Center, in Buffalo.
Mrs. Wiedrich was born May 12, 1926 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Hobart and Verna (Phelps) Heddon.
She was a 76 year member of the 1st Presbyterian Church in LeRoy, attended Rochester Business Institute and was a past president of the Women's Insurance Club in Batavia.
She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Wiedrich, whom she married June 28, 1966; 2 sons, Richard (Andrea) Greenaker of Farmington, NM and Edward (Mary) Greenaker of Oneonta; 2 sisters, Doris Mancuso of LeRoy and Jean Heimlich of Clearwater, FL; 2 grandchildren, Joshua Greenaker of Cooperstown, and Sara Greenaker of Oneonta; 10 nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at H.E. Turner & Co. Funeral Home, 403 E. Main St., Batavia, where services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to Homecare & Hospice, 550 E. Main St., Batavia, NY 14020. Burial will be in Stafford Rural Cemetery, Stafford.
