W.C. Thompson, 71, 406 South Hedgecoke, died at the family residence last night following a lingering illness.
He was a member of the First Methodist church and the Masonic lodge and had made his home in Borger for more than 9 years.
Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. E.F. Copeland and Mrs. Jack B. Knight, both of Borger; one son, J.W. Thompson of Pampa; two sisters, Mrs. S.M. Shane and Mrs. Ruby Fletcher, both of Paragould, Ark.; and a brother, Leanord of Paragould, Ark.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of the Minton Funeral home, with the Rev. R.N. Huckabee, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating.
Immediately folowing the services the body will be sent to Paragould, Ark., where final rites will be conducted with burial in the cemetery there.
