Edna A. DeLozier age 97 of Maryville passed away, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Shannondale of Maryville. She was a member of Everett Hills Baptist Church and a graduate of Everett High School. She graduated from Fort Sanders Teaching Hospital in 1940 and worked as an RN at Blount Memorial Hospital, and hospitals in St. Petersburg, FL, retiring from Alcoa Aluminum Co. Preceded in death by: Husband, Hubert C. DeLozier; Brother, Lloyd Anderson; Sisters, Velma Sharp, Pauline Crabtree, Ruth Souther, and Louise Williams. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Elizabeth & Don Hamil; Son & Daughter-in-law, Arthur & Marcy DeLozier; Grandchildren, Cindy Waggoner (Andrew), Kristi Caux (J.P.), Greg DeLozier (Esther), Gwenan K. DeLozier, Scott A. DeLozier; Great-Grandchildren, Sarah, Nicholas, and Max; Daughter-in-law, Lynda DeLozier; Brother-in-law, Evan Souther; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff at Shannondale of Maryville for taking such good care of Mom for the last five years.
