Elmo Resident, Dies
Mrs. Georgia Ann Bowman, 89 years of age, of Elmo, died at 11:45 o'clock last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Elmer Castillo of southeast of Elmo, where she had been the past week. She had been ill about two weeks.
Mrs. Bowman was born March 18, 1854, at Maryville, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Mathew W. Graham. She was married in November, 1873, near Wilcox, to Francis Marion Bowman, who preceded her in death in July, 1913. Mrs. Bowman was a member of the Christian church of Elmo.
Surviving are three sons, Marion Walton Bowman, Elmo; Francis Edgar Bowman, Clearmont, and Charles E. Bowman, Cheyenne, Wyo.; one daughter, Mrs. Castillo, Elmo; three brothers, Marion W. Graham, Maryville; Andy Graham, Quitman, and Charles Edward Graham, Elmo; one sister, Mrs. Alice Robinson, Fairfax; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Christian church in Elmo. Burial will be in the High Prairie cemetery at Elmo.
