Company H "Gardner Volunteers" of Warren County, 22nd Georgia Infantry, Sorrel's Brigade, Anderson's Division, 1st Corps, Army of Northern Virginia, C.S.A.

Residence Warren County GA.
Enlisted on 3/4/1862, he was mustered into "B" Co. GA 48th Infantry as a Private.
He was transferred on 3/23/1862 into "H" Co. GA 22nd Infantry.
He was Killed In Action in the Battle of Spotsylvania Court House, VA.

The 22nd Infantry Regiment was formed at Big Shanty, Georgia, in September, 1861, with men from Schley, Glascock, Bartow, Lincoln, Washington, Dawson, and Henry counties.
