WELL-KNOWN CHARACTER DEAD
On Saturday evening occurred the death, at the home of his mother on North Main street, of John Behee, who was known about town as "Baldy" Behee, aged 54 years. He had been ill of inflammation of the bowels and about a week ago suffered a slight stroke of apoplexy. John was a general favorite and particularly kind to children.
Deceased's mother, the venerable Mrs. John Behee survived as do also three brothers, George F. Behee, Daniel F. Behee, and J. L. Behee, of this city, and four sisters, Mrs. Rex, of Mauch Chunk; Miss Ruth Behee, Mrs. Charles O'Connor and Miss Anna Behee, of this city. Deceased is also survived by one daughter, Mrs. Fred Nagle, of this city; two grandchildren, Miss Ruth Patterson and Alexander Patterson.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Bickford will officiate. The interment will be in Hollenback cemetery.
