Rex Earl Noreen, 50, of Rigby, found his parking spot in heaven on November 8, 2012 surrounded by loved ones.

He was born December 11, 1961 in Rexburg, Idaho. He was the sixth of nine children to LaVerl and Bernice Noreen.

He attended schools in Lincoln and Ammon. He graduated from Bonneville High school.

Rex married Kim M. Crapo on March 25, 1979 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. From this union they had 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He worked as a crane operator for 34 years. Ten of those years were with Intermountain Erectors Inc. and twenty-four of those years he worked with his brothers and father at Noreen Brothers Construction.

Rex enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. True to the Idaho outdoor spirit he liked fishing, hunting and camping.

He is survived by his wife, Kim Noreen, Rigby, ID;
Daughter, Melisa Call of Idaho Falls, ID;
Daughter, Marcy Noreen of Idaho Falls, ID;
Son, Tyson (Laura) Noreen of New York, NY;
His parents LaVerl and Bernice Noreen of Rigby, ID;

Brother, Steve (Cindy) Noreen of Idaho Falls, ID;

Funeral services will be at 12 noon, Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at the Rigby East Stake Center (300 North on Ririe Highway). The family will visit with friends from 11:00 a.m. -11;45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery.
