QUINCY, Pa. - Anna Mildred Boward Barnhart, 90, a resident of Quincy United Methodist Home, and formerly of 201 Hamilton Ave., Waynesboro, Pa., died Monday, July 27, 1998, at the home.

Born May 12, 1908, in Clear Spring, she was the daughter of the late George C. and Annie Angle Boward.

Her husband, Ralph Wishard Barnhart, died in 1990. They were married June 19, 1934.

She graduated from Clear Spring High School and Frostburg State Normal School.

She was a teacher in the Washington County School District. She also was a substitute teacher in the Waynesboro Area School District. In 1967, she started Trinity United Church of Christ Nursery School. She retired in 1972.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Waynesboro and the 3-M Sunday School Class.

She is survived by a daughter, Camilla Ann McAninch of Waynesboro; and a sister, Camilla Angle Boward of Hagerstown.

Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro. Pastor James T. Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro.

There will be no viewing.

Memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, 30 W. North St., Waynesboro, Pa. 17268.
