Friday 27 January 1922:

"Mr. Henry Maybury, an aged and respected citizen of Westernport, died at the Allegany Hospital, Cumberland 22 January 1922 at 3:30 o'clock, from infirmities of age. He had been taken to the hospital the previous day but had been in ill health the past year or more.

The body was brought to his house in Westernport Monday afternoon and the funeral was held Thursday in St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Mr. Maybury was born in Cumberland 18 October 1843 and was 78 years of age. He had been a resident of Westernport for forty-nine years. He was a retired employee of the C. & P. Railroad Company and spent thirty years in the company service.

Mr. Maybury is survived by his wife, who was Miss Frances Kreyenbuhl of St. Clair, Dodridge County, W.Va.; and by the following sons and daughters, John B. Maybury, Piedmont; Joseph Maybury, Pittsburgh; Henry and Frank Maybury, Parkersburg; Misses Mary and Lena Maybury at home; and Mrs. George Cross, Pittsburgh. He also leaves a brother John Maybury, St. Claire, W.Va.; a brother, Bearnad Maybury and a sister, Mrs. George Sturman, of Hamilton, Ohio.

Mr. Maybury's death is the first in his immediate family, he being survived by all the members of his own family, and the full corps of his grandchildren."

Henry Maybury married Frances Kreyenbuhl 19 April 1870, Doddridge Co., West Virginia.
