ALBANY — The graveside funeral service of Carlos Joshua Blankenship, 52, of 2010 W. Broad Ave. Apt. 16, who died Monday, November 14, 2005, will be conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Tony Haefs will officiate.
A native of Sylacauga, AL, Mr. Blankenship had resided in Albany most of his life. He was a purchasing agent for Thrush Aircraft and attended Gillionville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Walter M. Blankenship Sr.
Survivors include his son, Matthew "Matt" Blankenship of Leesburg; his mother, Billie P. Blankenship of Albany; a brother and his wife, Walter and Elaine Blankenship of Albany; two sisters, Penny Pietras of Ochlocknee and Carol Warren and her husband, Don of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
