Floyd Alvin Farner, 76, died unexpectedly at 10:55 AM Tuesday [July 10, 1990] in Lafayette Home Hospital, shortly after being admitted. Born Aug. 17, 1913, in Tippecanoe County, he was a graduate of Battle Ground High School. He married Dorothy Anderson Armstrong on April 12, 1946, in Lafayette; she survives. Mr. Farner, a life resident of this area, was a plumber for 30 years with P.H. Schomers Plumbing and Heating, retiring in 1975.

Survivng with his wife are a daughter, Phyllis King of Lafayette; a son, John Farner of Phoenix, AZ; two stepdaughters, Patricia Baas of Milwaukee, WI, and Sally Foltz of Lafayette; a stepson, Robert Armstrong of Westerville, OH; also several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one stepson, two brothers, and one sister.
