"James McGinnity Dies In Hospital
James A. McGinnity, 130 East Forest Avenue, a resident of Olean for the past twenty years, died this morning, (November 27, 1944) at St. Francis Hospital. Surviving are two sons, Harols, Salamanca, and Edward Olean, and two daughters, Mrs. Ralph Sirdevan, Arlington, Va., and Mrs. Kenneth Carls, Allegany. He also leaves five grandchildren. He was a member of St. John's Church and the Holy Name society.
Funeral arrangements are imcomplete."

Funeral services for James McGinnity will be held Thursday morning, November 30, at eight thirty o'clock at the home, 130 East Forest Avenue, and a nine o'clock at St. John's church. Burial will in St. Bonaventure Cemetery."

JAMES D. M'GINITY DIED IN A HOSPITAL
Native of Ranolph; three sisters reside here
Mrs. Martha Abbey of this village and Mrs. Cary Jenks of Conewango, sadly were in Olean to attend funeral services held for Mrs. Abbey's brother, James D. McGinity, at St. John's Church, Thursday morning. Mr. McGinity, who had been in failing health for a time, was taken Sunday to St. Francis Hospital in that city, and his death occurred there Monday morning. Interment was made in St. Bonaventure cemetery at Allehany.
Mr. McGinity, 75, was born in the town of Randolph the son of Henry and Ann Murphy McGinity. He had resided in Olean many years, however will be remembered by many in this vicinity.
Three sisters and one brother survives and are, Mrs. Clarence Hitchcock of Conewango road; Stephen McGinity, Salamanca; Miss Alice McGinity and Mrs. Martha Abbey of this village. There are also two sons and two daughers."
