Holdam and Miss Louanna James accompanied by Misses Mollie Brooks and Sabra Hays, were married in Cincinnati Tuesday. Mr. Holdam is an excellent young man while Miss Louanna is so well known here for her beauty and lovely disposition that it is useless to add more. May their union be a happy one.

Holdam, who recently underwent an operation at St. Josephs Infirmary in Louisville, died at that institution on Thursday morning June 5th. Mr. Holdam was Circuit Clerk of Lincoln county and one of the cleverest and most substantial citizens of the county. He is survived by his wife, who was Miss Louanna James of Crab Orchard, where his remains were taken for interment. Mr. Holdam had a host of friends in Garrard county who mourn his death and extend their sympathies to the bereaved family.
