Chapman, Lena Pearl (Snyder)

Lena Pearl Snyder daughter of Arvel & Pear Snyder was born February 22, 1902 & departed this life on December 26, 1928 at the age of twenty-six years, ten months, & four days.

Passing came suddenly with little warning, Wednesday night, shortly before midnight.

Mrs. Chapman passed her girlhood days in the Landaker vicinity, & was known to all for her sweet & sunny disposition, her was a strong personality, an inspiring character, always kind & patient & ever ready to lead a helping hand to a friend or neighbor.

Lena was untied in holy matrimony to James E. Chapman on March 8, 1919 & to this union two sons were born James Chapman Jr. & Elmo Chapman.

Mrs. Chapman had gone to join her mother, who had passed away six months ago.

Mrs. Chapman leaves to morn her passing husband James E.; her father Arvel; two brothers Flay & Clarence Snyder, & a host of relatives & friends.

Funeral services were conducted at the Landaker Church by the Rev. T. J. Simmons, at 2:00 p.m. Friday afternoon. With interment in the Landaker Cemetery. The pallbearers were family & friends. The floral pieces were many & beautiful.

The bereaved husband, sons, father, & brothers have a heartfelt sympathy of all.
