Eva May Campbell of Amarillo, formerly of Guymon, died Tuesday, June 5 in Amarillo. She was 74 years old. The daughter of Daniel and Minerva Strickland, she was born Sept. 20, 1909 near Abilene, Tex. She attended several schools during her career and graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University at Shawnee, Okla.

She married J. Walter Campbell on Sept. 5, 1936 at Shawnee, OK then moved to Guymon. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and taught Sunday School. She was a member of the Jolly Stitchers Club, InterSe Club, and taught English to people of Oriental and Spanish descent.

She is survived by her husband; four sons, Pat of Vancouver, Wash., Eddie of Atlanta, Ga., George of Amarillo and Paul of Topeka, Kan.; three sisters, Mary Smith of Arkansas City, Kan. Gladys Hartley of Meade, Kan., and Oma Lee Duckworth of Orlando, Florida and one brother, Alva Strickland of Nashville, Tenn.
