According to his Washington State death record, William was the son of Fred Kirschner and Emma Hemrick. His wife was named Maud.
In his WWI Draft Registration Card, William lived in Kent with his wife Maud. He worked as a self employed farmer, but a note stated that he was retired from business. The card was dated 9/12/18.

Requiem mass for William H. Kirschner, Kent resident for namy years, who died Monday of a heart ailment at a Seattle hospital, will be at 9:30 o'clock this (Thursday)morning at St. Anthony's Catholic church with Rev. John J. ... officiating.
Mr. Kirschner was 60 years of age. Son of a pioneer Northwest family, Mr. Kirschner had lived nearly all of his life in the northwest, much of it in Kent. He was born September 13, 1862, in Wisconsin. He had moved from Kent to ... Seattle to make his home ... three years ago.
Surviving are four sons; W. A. Kirschner of Seattle, Frederick Kirschner of Kodiak, Alaska; Robert of Kent, and Richard Kirschner of Tacoma and a daughter, Mrs. ... Burdett of Tacoma.
Burial was to be at Calvary cemetery, Seattle."
