Mrs. Jessie Lee Tibbetts, was called home by her Savior, Lord Jesus Christ on Sunday, November 4, 2012. She was born in St. Elmo, AL., and was a resident of the Mobile Area for 91 years and was the grand daughter of the late Samuel Mountain, one of the founding fathers of the City of Mobile. Jessie Lee worked and retired from the Mobile County Public School System at Barton Academy after 34 plus years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband George F. Tibbetts; parents, Olin Toralf Hanson, Sr., and Minnie Mountain, her brother Olin T. Hanson, Jr.; her brother in law, A.J. Tibbettes, all of Mobile. She is survived by her twin sister, Minnie Lee Tibbetts, sister Barbara Grovenstein (BH); sister in law, Shirley Hanson. She is also survived by her deceased brothers children, Veronica Clarke (Sidney), Sylvia Clarke (Kenny Ray), Gloria Jean Roberts (Kenneth), Olin T Hanson, III (Linda), Herbie O. Hanson (Alesia), Jon C. Hanson; cousins, Eddie Brister and April Boudreaux (Chris); numerous great and great great, nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2 PM with visitation starting at 1 PM. Private burial will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Saving Grace Lutheran Church or St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 6100 Cottage Hill Rd. Mobile, AL 36609.
