Bernard E. Winans, 73, 109 E. Canal St., Navarre, who was pronounced dead on arrival at Massillon City Hospital Friday morning. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery, Mantua.
He was born in Greene, and had resided in the Canton area 30 years.
Before retiring in 1968, Mr. Winans was employed by the Diebolt Co. 20 years.
His wife Eva H. Winans died Sept. 9, 1968.
Survivors include a son, Bernard W. of Jefferstown, Ky.; a daughter, Mrs. Wilma Fales of Canton; a brother, Aylmer of Cortland; a sister, Mrs. Verna Hartman of Warren; and six grandchildren.
