Francis was born in Wisconsin where he met and married Grace Maud Lowry. Together they had three children: Gladys(1899), George(1901),Lester(1906)-

The family was born and lived in Illinois. They relocated and several of the children married lived in Ipswich, South Dakota. He is in the photo with his brother Will each in their early elementary school years.

Son George did live in the area as well as Mitchell, N. Dakota; when Francis(Harry as he was known) died Grace went to live with daughter Gladys and son-in-law Ben Hartzell in Ipswich.

Francis was survived by his wife, children and two known grandchildren, Beverly V. Hartzell and Verna Coulter.

He was buried in the cemetery where his wife Grace Lowry Coulter Bebermeyer joined him many years later.

Daughter Gladys went to live in Oregon later on and passed there with her husband. The granddaughter Beverly (Hayes) remained in Oregon while her younger brother Lester went to live in Illinois, marry and passed there in AZ/Illinois.
