Rev. William Henry ANGER, BA, a Methodist Minister, and his brother, James Edwin ANGER, became publishers and created the Niagara Falls Review newspaper, which has been the local newspaper in the Niagara Falls area since it was first established, by the ANGER brothers, in 1879.
James E. ANGER carried on as publisher & editor of the Niagara Falls Review, while William H. ANGER started a business school, in Niagara Falls, known as the Niagara Falls Business College. By 1885, the school was moved to St. Catharines, Ontario, then known as the St. Catharines Business College.
Wm. Henry ANGER, of St. Catharines, Principal of St. Catharines Business College, married Harriet Amelia DELL, of Stamford, daughter of James Stephen DELL & Esther Ann AUSTIN. They married December 30, 1885 at Stamford Township (Niagara Falls), Welland County, Ontario, CANADA.
Son Clarence "Roy" ANGER was born 1886 in St. Catharines and died 1914 in Toronto. He is buried with his parents in Drummond Hill Cemetery.
Living in Toronto, Ontario, William H. ANGER was an author & law publisher, writing and publishing Canadian Commercial, Mercantile and Business Law publications, himself and with others, including his son Harry Dell ANGER. These Law publications are still currently in use, 2013.
His son, The Hon. Mr. Justice Harry Dell ANGER was born November 3, 1888 in St. Catharines, Lincoln County, Ontario and died June 14, 1953 in Toronto, York County, Ontario. Harry graduated from the University of Toronto 1910, was a graduate of Osgoode Hall Law School, class of 1914. He was called to King's Council 1934, and appointed magistrate 1936. After retirement from the bench, 1938, he practiced law on his own until his death, 1953.
