Howard F. Jenkins

Death: Sep. 23, 1996

Musician. Born in Friars Point, Mississippi, he was best known for being a member of country artist Conway Twitty's band. Twitty also happened to be his younger brother. In the 1940s, together with his brother, he formed the group "The Phillips County Ramblers", which had their own show every Saturday morning on radio station KFFA in Helena, Arkansas. He also played with his brother every Saturday night on the Grand Ole Opry radio show. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
