GREGG PANDA DUNCAN
January 28, 1999. Panda Duncan Gregg, 56, of Newport, died Thursday at the Jefferson Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reece Duncan Sr. and Ophia Duncan; a brother, Reece Duncan Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Stacy Gregg of Sevierville; son, Brian Gregg of Sevierville; son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Sheila Gregg of Newport; two stepdaughters, Teresa and Melissa Sprouse of Newport; one sister Virginia Jaynes of Newport; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Betty Duncan and Eugene and Rose Duncan of Newport; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held Saturday at 8 p.m. at the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Charles Lowery officiating. Interment will be 2 p.m. Sunday in the Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Manes Funeral Home is in charge. This obituary was in the Newport Plain Talk on January 29, 1999.
