Charles O. Gillette, 77, of 302 West 14th Street, Scottsbluff, died at a local hospital Thursday. Born Feb. 15, 1894, at Mondamin, Iowa. Married Eleanor Brubaker Aug. 15, 1939, at Scottsbluff. They lived in Bridgeport until 1971 where he was employed as a mail carrier. Moved to Scottsbluff at that time. Survivors: Wife; daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Spahn of Scottsbluff; sons, Everett and Glenn of Scottsbluff; sisters, Mrs. Gent (Edna) McManigal of Blair, Neb., Mrs. Bertha Gilkey of Edgemont, S. D., Mrs. Grace Marco of Washington, D. C., Mrs. Marjorie Walker of Oregon, Mrs. Myron (Rosie) Marcellus of Pendleton, Ore., Mrs. John (Violet) Bowers of Rapid City; brothers, Carroll of Chandler, Ariz., Glenn and Everett of Rapid City; Five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. Five sons preceded him in death. Services: Dugan Funeral Chapel. Burial in Bayard.
