JIM LEE BINKLEY, 78, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Columbia City, he worked for Perfection Biscuit Company for 40 years, retiring in 1996. He was very active as a labor union leader. He was a member of Harvester Avenue Missionary Church. Jim was an avid reader, fisherman and a fan of the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Notre Dame Football, and I.U. Basketball. Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Joan Felger Binkley; four sons, Daniel (Richele) Binkley, David (Nancy) Binkley, Warren (Sue Ann) Binkley, and Monty (Christine) Binkley; brother, Jack (Carole) Binkley; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Ethel "Peggy" Binkley. Service is 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at the funeral home.
