Frances R. Rowe
Frances R. Rowe, 80, of rural Montrose, died 3:50 a.m. Thursday, April 14, in Barnes Hospital, St. Louis.
She was born Sept. 25, 1907, in Williamstown, Mo., the daughter of William Payne and Nancy Webster Morris. She married Archie Lee Rowe in 1931 in Burlington. She was employed at Sheller-Globe for 15 years before her retirement.
Survivors include her son William Jones of Warsaw; daughters Joan Daggs of Montrose and Donna Hudson of Alexandria; 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Aug. 3, 1981, a daughter, two brothers, three sisters and two grandsons.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Schmidt-Vigen Memorial Home with Rev. G.B. (Tad) Tadlock officiating.
Burial will be in the Montrose Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Friday at the family will meet with friends 7 – 9 p.m.
