Alexander was a beautiful 5 yr old boy who died of leukemia after a 6 mo valiant battle. Alex was a "toe" walker and as his Mother said "Alex, you never really touched the ground, but you touched the hearts of everyone who was privileged to meet you" . Never forgotten always loved and adored
Alex loved his school and his friends who never forgot him when he was ill. They sent him gifts and a wall sized ripped paper project of a brontosaurus that they all signed. He LOVED dinosaurs!
On one of his last good days in 1-97, I took him to visit his class. When he entered the room, they all stood up and rushed him calling his name. He was so happy! Luckily I hung back at the door because I didn't want 5 year olds to see me burst into happy tears, which I did.
Alex loved life and he had a way of making those he loved feel special. He was a very generous little boy. Sharing was a given to him.
I always smile when I see a train. He loved trains and model trains, toy cars and trucks and anything to do with Disney.
Alex is more than my son, he still is my best friend. We just "got eachother"
No matter how much time passes, I miss him as intensely now as the day he left me.
Thankyou so much Saralyn for sponsoring Alex's memorial and making me welcome when I joined the F-A-G community.
Thank you to all the wonderful, kind people who have left tokens and loving sentiments that have given my little guy a home where his memory is alive. Knowing he is never forgotten is the only thing that makes this more bearable.
Our beloved baby
Note: Thankyou again Saralyn for adding Alex's picture to his page. Thankyou Honieraye for the beautiful art work and for posting the photo of my darling baby's headstone. Thankyou Crystal for the beautiful artwork.
