I have often found comfort in cemeteries; perhaps because the earth holds my most precious buried treasure in its chambers. I am eager to assist you in locating and capturing still images of your departed; I would like to think that my small measure will contribute to your remembrance of whom you seek to find. I will do my best to respond to your request as promptly as I can, in efforts to reach more requested inquiries I plan to take as many quality pictures of other requested in the same area. There are many rural cemeteries here in New Mexico and I have noticed there are many people waiting for requests to be picked up. I will be traveling outside of my designated area to as many New Mexico Rural cemeteries as I can. Since I will be traveling, capturing all requests for respective cemetery will be my goal. I have not seen, thus far, more than 10 request in regards to request made in respective area.

Many of these rural cemeteries are in remote areas, tucked away in the mountains, or simply forgotten about because generations have passed. New Mexico is as rich in culture and tradition as its past; the Spanish Conquest, the Revolt of 1857, and the Reconquista are just a few memories New Mexico remembers. Many remote and rural towns were part of The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo; some towns still have original family land grant rights. Many of my ancestors settled/ or were already in New Mexico Territory long before it was America.

Good luck in your search, many you find the one you are looking for; I will do my absolute best in photographing for your departed; I know what it means to you. Wishing you well……………Dinah Vargas

When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'
