I was born and raised in Louisiana, Pike County, Missouri where some of both sides of my family has lived since before 1800. Most of my families ancestors are from Pike and Calhoun Counties in Illinois arriving before 1830 and Pike County and Ozark County in Missouri arriving before 1850. My wife Patti Clayton Campbell's family is mostly from Virginia and lived in and around Norfolk. Born in Richmond, a Navy daughter, she was raised here and there but considers Fairfax City, VA home. Our research interests include Campbell, Emerick, Haff, Sisson, Staggs, Crissman, Turnbaugh, Shinn, and Small, in my line and Clayton, Farrow, Stone, Lee, and Capps in her line.
