Bio

I have enjoyed genealogy for over 30 years and have accumulated a database on the Delong/DeLong surname which is likely second to none. This database includes the complete works of the late John D. Baldwin III who spent 50 years of wonderful research on this surname. Other surnames I research are Bilbee, Hoch, Starkey, Muir, Strimple, Benham and others.

Transfers: If you are interested, just ask! I am not hung up on the findagrave.com guidelines, all that is important to me is that if you are better able to add to the memorial than I am. You don't have to be directly related, just willing and able to make the memorial better. IF YOU ARE JUST COLLECTING MEMORIALS WITH LITTLE EFFORT, PLEASE DON'T BOTHER ME!

Anyone who has spent much time researching the Delong, DeLong, De Long, Delang, DeLang surname, may have run across the longtime DELONG researcher, the late John D. Baldwin III. John has catagorized all of these surnames into 10-11 groups in which he called Volumes. Currently there are Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13 & 14. All the 18,000+ DELONGs in Find-A-Grave are in one of these Volumes. I befriended John years ago and have his complete collection of these Volumes.

Although I don't like creating memorials without actual burial locations, I have found it necessary to do so in some instances in order to group children with parents or to link between children and grandparents.

ANY memorial that I have created with an unknown burial, will be transferred to you if you uncover the true burial location as your reward.
