Flowers left for Patrick Chalk
Henry Chalk died yesterday morning at the family residence, a short distance south of West Point. Mr Chalk had been an invalid for three years and his death was caused by consumption. He was a son of William Chalk and was born in Wayne township on November 14, 1852. He leaves a widow, formerly Miss Jennie Cheeseman, and one son, Ottis Chalk. The deceased was a farmer by occupation and was a representaive member of the community in which he was born and reared. Mr Chalk was an honest and industrious man and enjoyed the confidence and respect of all who knew him. The funeral will be conducted from the West Point Methodist church tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock. Rev David Handley will officiate and the interment will be made in the West Point cemetery.
