Flowers left for Caroline Kidwell
Carolyn Kidwell, wife of George Kidwell of 738 South Twenty-Sixth street died at the Home hospital Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock from cancer of the stomach. She had been confined to the hospital ten days previous to her death. She was the daughter of Louis and Mary Brown, and was born in Wea Township, September 16, 1867. Up to the time she moved to this city three years ago, Mrs Kidwell had resided on the Indianapolis gravel road, 5 miles southwest of the city. She was a member of the English Lutheran church. She is survived by Charles, and a daughter Carolyn Kersey, all of Lafayette. The funeral will be held at 10 o’clock Monday morning at Spring Grove church, Rev A V Babbs officiating. Burial will be at the Spring Grove cemetery. (Lafayette Journal Courier, Saturday, April 17, 1920)
