Flowers left for Thomas Rideout
Dear Thomas, I'm sorry you had to endure so much hardship in this life but am sure you are now at peace and reaping the just rewards of a life well-lived. My father (from Texas, USA), was on Bataan & endured many of the same things you went through during 3.5 years as a prisoner of the Japanese. I'm especially upset about the way the govt treated your widow. Apparently all govts are the same in making people struggle to obtain what is rightfully theirs after service has been given. I see your neice is living in Scotland now. My grandfather was from Dundee but died before I was born. Warmest greetings to your loved ones. So glad to have met you. Rest in peace. With love.
- Joy from Texas
