Flowers left for Robert Grashaw
I had no idea Dr. Grashaw passed away. I haven't seen him in years, but he was my dermatologist when I was a teenager. I have never met a kinder, more patient doctor. He always made me feel special, and never embarassed about whatever I was there to see him about. I was reading the "Bitter Pill" article in Time Magazine, and thinking to myself, "Wow, no wonder doctors never look you in the eye anymore, and no wonder they can't stand to be in the same room with you for longer than a minute or two", and then I remembered the exception to that rule.I did a Google search for Dr. Grashaw, intent on finding his e-mail address so that I could thank him for being so wonderful to me. I haven't seen him in about twenty years, but I have never forgotten about him, and whenever I webt by the building he used to practice in, I would smile. Now I'll be sad that he's gone, but I still feel blessed that I got to know him.Anyway, I hope that someone in his family finds this message. I hope that you can read this and know that your husband or dad or whatever had a lasting impact. I'm sure I'm not the only patient of his who would say so.
