Flowers left for Martin King
Thanks for your courage during a time when your views about human dignity- life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for ALL- were not shared by a large segment of the population. Although things are not perfect now in regards to race relationships, things have changed and are changing in a positive way. Yesterday,January 21, 2013,was a historical day. It was the public swearing in and the second inaugural of a Black man,Barack Hussien Obama as President of the United States. It was also the federal holiday in your honor: Martin Luther King,Jr.Holiday. You were a drum major for justice and fought victoriously to ensure that the essence of the United States Constitution, the unalienable rights- life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness- are inextricable for ALL of its citizentry. OH HAPPY DAY AND BELATED BIRTHDAY. Thank you again- hazel jester
