| | To a Cherished Gentleman... "Thank You" doesnt seem enough. You have graced our lives in my family in ways you can never know.I have a card you made for my mother in 1944, It is lovely. She adored RANDOM HARVEST especially and "Oh Smithy" was mentioned on the day she died. As a young girl, she rejoiced in your marriage to your beautiful Benita, and the joy of your lovely Juliet's birth.(A REAL fan, and she passed that along to me.) Ive an aunt who was named "Zenda" after your picture in 1937, so I guess it runs in the family.. THANK YOU really IS all I can think of to say, just know it is with an earnest heart! Your voice and performances continue to fulfill some empty hours..GOD BLESS You, Dear Sir!With Deepest Respect, Gratitude and Admiration always... -
