| | Veteran's Day again approaches, but each day is a day for us to remember that freedom isn't free. The cost has been a terrible one. Ask each wife, ask each mother and father who has lost a loved one. But they are also proud of their husbands, sons and daughters for fighting on behalf of this beautiful country of ours. Just as my ancestors did when they arrived here, just as my dad did in WWII. We need to thank those veterans who are still alive. When we see them, Thank Them for putting themselves in harm's way without a second thought. All of our World War I Vets are gone. We are losing our World War II Vets every day, as well as our Korean and Vietnam Vets. Please remember that for many of them, every day is Veteran's Day because they are the ones who came home alive and I think they would like to be thanked now while they are alive, more so than after they are gone. And Thank You, William Watkins, for giving the most unselfish thing of all, your life. Rest In Peace in Heaven, Sir. With Respect, -
