Adolf Dick is Victim of Deadly Contagion
Cafeteria Proprietor Dies After Entire Family Falls Ill; Here 10 years
Adolf Dick, Proprietor of a cafeteria at 128 East Pikes Peak avenue, died of pneumonia, following influenza, at his home, 506 East Pikes Peak avenue, at 8:10 o'clock last night. His wife, Mrs. Frances Dick, and his two sons, Arnot, 19, and Lewis, 16, also had influenza, the entire family being sick at thte same time, but the mother and younger son have recovered, and the condition of the older son was much improved yesterday. Mr. Dick was 43 years of age. He was born in Germany and came to America when a child. He moved to Colorado Springs 10 years ago and had been in the restaurant business most of the time he had lived here. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
