Flowers left for William Bankhead
To be honest: I found your name and I didn't understand WHO you were and went to another page in my history books. But I was already a fan of your oldest daughter (she stole my heart in a blink of an eye - "Lifeboat" ... wish you could have seen this masterpiece!) from the age of fourteen on! I saw HER, my jaw fell down and I thought "Goodness gracious me! How beautiful is this woman! I never saw a more beautiful woman and I will never see a more beautiful woman in my whole life!" Premature? Maybe. But now - at the age of 53 - I know I was right. I was also fascinated by the musical name "Tallulah" - a name for a princess (in a certain way, she was really a princess) and started to find out more about her. In the last years with the upcoming of the internet, I learned more about her and could even watch her movies and listen to old radio transmissions. And I found out who was her family. I became also curios to learn about you: Who was this man who raised such a wonderful person? I googled a little bit and found out, that you are also a role model for contemporary politicians. The world needs more politicians like you - it doesn't matter in what position. Almost no entry in a encyclopedia forgets to mention that you are the father of Tallulah! No insult intented: Your daughter was and is more famous than you! You can be very proud to have such a daughter. About your first daughter is not much known to the public, but I suppose, she was also a wonderful person! May God bless you and your whole family of all generations! Would have liked to know your in person, but I was born 19 years and two days after your death. Regards to your family (and especially TALLULAH !).
