Flowers left for Jeanie Allison
Jeanie was born August 16, 1933 in Green Forest, Arkansas, daughter of Frank and Juanita (Clay) Andrew. Jeanie and David met in Seaside, California at a church service and the courtship began. They were married on August 30, 1952 in Reno, Nevada and resided in Seaside, California. In 1963 Jeanie and David moved their young family to Juneau, Alaska where they worked together in Allison Construction. Jeanie had a deep love for her family. There was never a trip that she did not make it a point to stop and visit her aunts, uncles, nieces and cousins along the way. Jeanie loved to travel. Jeanie and David took many cruises and visited many countries including Israel, China, Germany, Europe, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Bora Bora, Mexico and the Caribbean. Their motorhome was another avenue of travel in which Jeanie enjoyed and took many trips with her children, grandchildren, siblings and friends touring all over the United States. There were years of numerous fishing trips in Juneau on their boat the "Jeanie A" which Jeanie was a gracious hostess to family and friends. Jeanie enjoyed Christian and Country Music and attended many concerts including Gaither cruises with her sister-in-law Joyce Andrew. Jeanie was known as "Memaw" to her grandchildren, a beautiful name for a beautiful grandmother. Jeanie is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior.
