 Mary A. Fisher was the daughter of Asa Fisher and Susannah Horsman of Clinton Co., OH. She married Elijah Hill, the son of John Hill and Nancy Conner [Elijah and Nancy both buried in Shiloh Cemetery, Grant Co., John in New Waverly Cem., Cass Co., IN....all IN—in Find-A-Grave] on Dec. 12, 1860, in Delaware Co., IN. He died Sept. 17, 1874. They had four children: Martha Elizabeth Hill [b. Jan 19, 1862] who married Franklin Arthur McCoy; George W. Hill [b. Jan 29, 1867] who married [1] Florence Little, [2] Martha Elizabeth Griffen, [3] Linnie (Vetor)Bates ; Alonzo Hill [b. Aug. 3, 1868 who married Della Arnett, and William Alexander Hill [b. Mar. 7 who married Hattie Elvira Stewart, 1874]. William was my grandfather. Mary married a second time to Lindley Arnett on May 27, 1875. May Mary be remembered always, since this family is not well-documented [yet].
