Flowers left for Wendell Pruitt
An Ace in every sense of the word! Thank you sir, for your service in WWII as a distinguished member of the Tuskegee Airmen flying P-51 Mustangs in the European theater. Technically you were short of shooting down five German fighters to attain "Ace" fighter pilot status, because you were ordered home to train replacement pilots. You and your fellow Tuskegee Airmen acted with dignity, honor and class in fighting racial segregation present in society at the time. America truly lost one of their best when you passed. God bless you sir and rest in peace.
