|Rest in peace Mrs. Anderson. |
Mrs. Anderson's husband, Gen. James Patton Anderson, is buried in Memphis Tn. He was a distinguished Confederate General in the Civil War. He served around the Chattanooga area during the battle of Chickamauga, and survived the war, though shot in the jaw, to settle in Memphis. He is buried next to his mother, and evidently Mrs. Anderson relocated to Florida where the Pattons were from. General Patton may also be found on this website. I have some original letters to Mrs. Patton from family members from the period of 1896-1898. If anyone has further information please contact me.
