Moulton Weekly TribuneJanuary 20, 1938Mrs. John BaldockDies At Age Of 87FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELDMONDAY IN MOULTONóBURIAL AT ORLEANSSarah Ann Shinn was born March 30, 1850, in Hartford, Illinois andpassed away January 13, 1938 a t 2:30 a. m. at the age of 87 years, 9 monthsand 13 days. She came to Iowa at the age of 3 years.She was united in marriage with John Baldock, October, 1873. Her husbandpreceded her in death in April, 1904. Five daughters have also passedon. Those left to mourn her loss are Nora Forsythe, Bloomfield, Ia.;Effie Park, Moulton; Ada Wiebers and Rilla Graham, of Fleming Colorado.17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and many friends and distant relatives. She was a faithful member of the Christian church for many years. Her membership was in the Hilltown church.To our dear and loving motherWe must say farewell at last,'She'll be ever in our memoryTho' her death a shadow cast...She's lived long and very finelyLoving, giving, ever free,And to us a fine exampleShe will always, always be...Both great grandchildren and grandchildren Many are and all will beSadly grieving and bereavingThe loss of which we cannot see...Give us strength for our tomorrowHearten us to face our sorrowGive us Lord, the light to seeLet us find our peace in Thee...Luverta Graham Wilson (granddaughter.)Funeral services were held at the Christian church in Moulton at 11:00a. m., Saturday, Jan. 15, with the pastor, Rev. Hugh C. Guy, in charge.Margaret Carter, Eloise Carlis, Paul McDanel and Ralph Mickelssang, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "Meet Me There." Mrs. R. R.Morrow was at the piano. Burial was in the Orleans cemetery.
