|THE DEATH OF MRS. CLINTON CUFFEL|
Elizabeth (Arndt) Cuffel died Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. at the family residence in Stockwell. She had been ailing for more than a year and her death was caused from tuberculosis. She was born at Stockwell on September 27, 1835, and was united in marriage to Clinton Cuffel September 18 1894. She is survived by a husband and three children, Grace, Gladys, and Arthur Cuffel, two other children dying in infancy. She leaves a mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Arndt; Miss Goldie Arndt and three brothers, Henry Arndt, of Fowler; Gus Arndt, of Los Angeles, and Noah Arndt, of Stockwell. All of her affection was centered in her home and she was an ideal mother. Her many womanly qualities won a host of friends for her and she was held in high esteem. She was an active member of the M.E. Church of Stockwell. The funeral will be held tomorrow morning at 10:30 o’clock at the M.E. church, Rev. O. P. Paxon will officiate. Interment in the Stingley Cemetery.
