Flowers left for Alfred Sellers
For my GGGG-Grandfather (aka Alford). His wife's name was Elizabeth Anderson and they were married in a double ceremony with his brother William Calvin Sellers, Jr and Elizabeth's sister, Lavina (2 brothers marrying 2 sisters). They married in Jefferson County, Georgia on 2 Dec 1818. Alford/Alfred & William's family (along with the Anderson's and Sheppard's) came from Onslow County, NC (or roundabouts). William Calvin Sellers, Sr was a Revolutionary War Vet. The Anderson girls are said to be part Cherokee Indian, and I do have a roll number for William Calvin Jr as a "Cherokee by Intermarriage".Alford/Alfred & Elizabeth had 6 children: James Wesley, Lavina Ann (married Alexander Augustus Wright), Alfred M., Elisha A., Elizabeth J., & William.
