Benjamin Crisman
| |  Benjamin Crisman was born 14 Jul 1772 in Maryland, in which state his parents resided for some years, but later became a successful miller of PA. Benjamin was baptized 23 Aug 1772 in Westmenster, Maryland at St. Benjamin German Lutheran and Reform Church. Benjamin went to Carroll County, OH in 1820 and puchased a 160 acre farm which he improved, and upon which he lived, until his death, which occurred after the close of the great Civil War. He remained in Stark County until 1833. He politically was a Whig and Republican. Benjamin is buried at the Salem Cemetery in Osnaburg, Ohio.
