Flowers left for Elizabeth O'Keefe
The death of Miss Elizabeth O'Keefe occurred at her home, 263Green Street, yesterday morning at 1 o'clock. Miss O'Keefe had been ill for some time, and her death resulted from a complication of diseases. She had been a cripple since early childhood, and had experienced bad health for the past several months. Miss O'Keefe was born in this city on April 7, 1872. She is a daughter of John O'Keefe , who is an old and trusted employ of the America Express company. Miss O'Keefe was a devout Catholic, and was much interested in church work. She was organist at St Ann's church for many years, and served as president of the Young ladies' Sodality of the church. She was also a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the A.O.H. and served as treasurer of the organization. Miss O"Keefe possessed many womanly qualities and was loved and admired by a host of friends. Besides her father, she is survived by an aunt, Mrs Nora Snethen, of this city. Her funeral will be conducted at 9 o'clock tomorrow morning from St Ann's church and the interment will be made in St Mary cemetery.
