Flowers left for Joseph Hagen
My grandmother accompanied by her husband, and her sister who was suffering from TB, went to the US for her recuperation in the 1920's. Jack, whom I believe was their uncle, took them in for 6 months. They never forgot his generosity. They decided to return to Ireland, and word of their return preceded their arrival. It was so unusual for emigrants to return that the town's brass band turned out to meet them at the station.
