Flowers left for Archie Dupy
Brakeman on either Great Northern passenger train or the mail train that were held up by heavy snow at the Wellington, Washington, railroad village. Railroad employees were sleeping in railcars as they feared destruction of the local hotel if an avalanche happened. It happened and the two trains were swept off the tracks down the mountainside to the Tye river gulch 150 feet below. One of the 96 fatalities recovered from that tragedy. Rest in peace. You were a Shippen descendant, like my spouse Roger.
